Day 249/365

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. [Deut. 4:29-30.] I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from captivity ...” (Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11-14‬ ‭AMPC‬‬)

Let’s face it, we ALL need releasing from captivity! It’s not all sex and drugs, some of us are constantly challenged by the demons of hurt, unforgiveness, bitterness etc., while some are battling themselves and their own perceived inadequacies and insecurities.

As even the Apostle Paul stated: “I’ve tried everything and nothing helps. I’m at the end of my rope. Is there no one who can do anything for me? Isn’t that the real question? The answer, thank God, is that Jesus Christ can and does. He acted to set things right in this life of contradictions where I want to serve God with all my heart and mind, but am pulled by the influence of sin to do something totally different.” (Rom 7:24-25‬ ‭MSG‬‬)

The Promise is: “That we will find GOD when we search for him with all our heart.” And “Help comes when we want to serve GOD with all our hearts and minds.” ❤️
