This isn’t about sowing into someone’s life, hoping to get something back because you ‘see the spark of genius,’ inside them. This is about giving - even when it hurts.

I spoke about my business yesterday, but what I didn’t tell you is that it died because our main client died and left us with a socking great debt that we couldn’t service. Anyway, from being a director of a successful company, I then had to suffer the personal ignominy of bankruptcy and director disqualification …

As I was going through this traumatic time, a friend actually stepped in and fully paid off our personal debt, (GOD bless him and his lovely wife), this major factor cost them a lot and enabled us to begin life again without the burden of a huge debt around our necks.
