“…You brag, ‘I’m rich, I’ve got it made, I need nothing from anyone,’ oblivious that in fact you’re a pitiful, blind beggar, threadbare and homeless.” (Rev 3:17)
While the media judges the ramifications of a possible input of 25,000 Afghan refugees, Christ’s children do what?
Do ‘we’ remember that ‘we’ have been born-again as members of GOD’s household and as such are now strangers and refugees in this world, or do we turn away from the issue - thinking that we’ve got it made, we don’t need to cause a ruckus?
When I had my own business, I remember once working very late to finish a project and as I was about to leave I noticed an over worked cleaner trying desperately to clean up half full coffee cups and plates and general rubbish stacked on all the peoples desks. So I turned around and sent an email to all my colleagues saying, ”It is with much regret that I must unfortunately announce that someone else has been fired from the business. As such, ‘someone else’ will not now be around anymore to clean up your dirty plates. Someone else will not now be here to wash up your half drunk coffee cups. Bottom line, someone else will not now be around to clean up after you. This is not a crèche, the cleaner will clean around your desk snd empty your bins, the rest is down to you!”
Take responsibility Child of the Living GOD, for we will be taken to account for all that we do - or don’t do! ❤️
