Day 19/365

“As they were leaving Jericho, a huge crowd followed. Suddenly they came upon two blind men sitting alongside the road. When they heard it was Jesus passing, they cried out, “Master, have mercy on us! Mercy, Son of David!” The crowd tried to hush them up, but they got all the louder, crying, “Master, have mercy on us! Mercy, Son of David!” Jesus stopped and called over, “What do you want from me?” They said, “Master, we want our eyes opened. We want to see!” Deeply moved, Jesus touched their eyes. They had their sight back that very instant, and joined the procession.” (Mat 20:29-34‬ ‭MSG‬‬)

My wife and I were asked to speak at a Church somewhere in Devon a few years ago. All the time we spoke I couldn’t help but notice a very unhappy looking father holding and comforting a young baby while the mother just sat staring out the window.

At the end of the service, this guy came up for prayer. I tried my best to minister to him but all he could do was cry out for GOD to help his wife...

My wife however went to the man’s wife and although I didn’t hear what she was saying, at the end of the prayer the man’s wife almost ran to take hold of her child from the fathers arms.

The Pastor told us later that this was a huge miracle. Apparently she’d given birth some 6 months before and couldn’t subsequently face picking up her new born child or even looking after her other children.

NB - We got a letter sometime later giving Glory to GOD for restoring normality back to this family’s house.

Call out to Jesus … ❤️
