Day 187/365

“… he (GOD) rescues the poor at the first sign of need, the destitute who have run out of luck. He opens a place in his heart for the down-and-out, he restores the wretched of the earth. He frees them from tyranny and torture— when they bleed, he bleeds; when they die, he dies.“ (Psa 72:9)‬‬

We just had a (not so brilliant) update on Lydia this morning. As a parent my heart naturally grieves whenever a child is sick and hurting and I can well imagine some of the difficult conversations and recriminations going on in Lydia’s household right now.

But let’s all remember that Lydia is His child and very much His responsibility. Yes He chose Karen and Ian as Lydia’s parents long before she was even thought of and He chose them for a reason because no one but them can do it like they can.

So let’s all gather around and surround Lydia and her loving parents Karen and Ian and watch what our Loving Father does in this situation.

“... I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.” (Mat 25:40‬ ❤️
