Day 183/365

(Jesus speaking) “You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you… (John 15/16)

The fundamental part of this statement is that we were ‘chosen’ for Christ long before we even considered the options of what it would mean for us.

His love was poured out into us and our broken and saddened hearts became alive together with our spirit through His Power, and our soul rejoiced in the transaction, which sealed the whole legal exchange.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let‘s look at ‘why’ GOD did it. “… I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.” (John‬ ‭15:16‬)

So we can actually ask Him for ‘anything!’ ANYTHING! Awesome huh? And the only caveat we have to work with is: “… that you love and unselfishly seek the best for one another.” (John‬ ‭15:17‬)
