Day 179/365

“… He became human! He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion! Because of that obedience, God exalted him and multiplied his greatness!

He has now been given the greatest of all names! The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,” bringing glory and honor to God, his Father!” (Phil‬ ‭2:7)

Many of the friends I had in my youth went on to be engineers and they all told similar stories of ‘initiation‘ during their first days. For example a manager would tell one of them to go to the Engineering Stores and ask the Store-man for a ‘long stand.’ The Store man would oblige by keeping him standing there for as long as he liked!

Are you getting the picture? No one balked at the manager’s request, his word was his command!

(Jesus speaking) “I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father! For I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to him. Ask me anything in my name, and I will do it for you!” (John‬ ‭14:12)
