Day 170/365
“… ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty and give you food and something to drink? When did we see you with no place to stay and invite you in? When did we see you poorly clothed and cover you? When did we see you sick and tenderly care for you, or in prison and visit you?’ “And the King will answer them, ‘Don’t you know? When you cared for one of the least of these, my little ones, my true brothers and sisters, you demonstrated love for me.’” (Mat 25:37)
It was the evening of Christmas Eve and we went to church with the kids to celebrate. About half way through the service I noticed a mother and two young daughters come in and stand apart from everyone else. My wife went over to offer her welcome. It turned out she’d driven all the way over from Switzerland because she’d seen our services online and desperately needed help and believed GOD would meet her needs if she came.
Bottom line, all the Inn’s were full, even the stable was full … my wife wouldn’t hear of them trying to travel back, so this beautiful family spent an impromptu Christmas with us.
It was by far the BEST Christmas we’d ever had - the Joy and Presence of GOD was palpable!
Open your eyes, ears and even your hand Child of the Living GOD, someone around you is praying fervently for an urgent need to be met… Has GOD given you the means to meet that need? ❤️
