Day 164/365

No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it. (1 Cor 10:13 MSG)


Let‘s face it, no one really likes to be challenged. We all accept challenges need to be faced, but we’d rather have a peaceful life and not bother having to face the unknowns.

Driving tests. Exams. Challenges at work. Delivering the first baby. Leaving toxic relationships... yes, even giving up something that we know is harming us becomes a struggle - and we even have a word for it; ‘better the devil you know...!’


Christ Jesus tells us: “… Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how … Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Mat 11:28 MSG) ❤️
