Day 160/365

… make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God.


… We can’t afford to waste a minute, must not squander these precious daylight hours in frivolity and indulgence … in bickering and grabbing everything in sight.


Get out of bed and get dressed! Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute. Dress yourselves in Christ, and be up and about! (Rom 13:11 MSG)


We all know how easy it is to get caught up in the ‘life game’ - everyday and everything needs sorting, our calendars totally filled in, and GOD (maybe) gets relegated to His slot on Sunday.


The thing is that Love – Powerful Love, doesn’t, won’t, (can’t) just ‘roll over’ while we decide to keep hitting the snooze button!


He gave far too much to rescue us from our impending death in la la land, to let us just slip back in … !


Lord, I’m hearing Your Voice - please help me. Amen. ❤️
