Day 153/365

“Then God remembered [the prayers of] Rachel, and God thought of her and opened her womb [so that she would conceive].” (Gen‬ ‭30:22‬)

Many of us are like the Donkey on Shrek when it comes to bombarding GOD daily “Pick Me! Pick Me! Pick Me!”

Even though it may seem as if we’ve been forgotten, the truth is that our Heavenly Father never forgets us - as I’ve often been reminded, our prayer requests can be simply categorised as:

Yes.

No.

Or not now.

Some people seem to get an incredible turn around in their circumstances when they pray and some, (like the case of young Lydia), we all have to fight for, and every step of the way.

The WHY’S are always up to GOD - He definitely knows best. The humble WHAT’S are down to us - “I give this over to your loving hands Lord, what should I do now?”

And it’s in THAT humble dialogue, that Peace will come, followed by her sisters; Hope and Reassurance.

“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!” (Pro 3:5)
