Day 143/365

God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life. (‭‭Psalm‬ ‭51:12 MSG)


A couple of conversations this week showed me that none of us need to look very far for people going through incredible stresses and strains. Mind numbing mental anguish, incomprehensible physical pains, terrifying uncertainties and hope crushing chaos. And while I’m listening I find that I could just as easily disappear down the same rabbit hole of despair - unless I hang on to Jesus.


But then, hope arises as I begin to remember that He can easily do another Genesis moment and transform the chaos I see and hear into Perfect Peace, just as he did when he restored Lazarus from a 4-day old pile of rotting mush, to perfect life and health.


Thank You for Your Awesome Loving Grace upon us all Lord. ❤️
