Day 122/365

Jesus said, “… Every person the Father gives me eventually comes running to me. And once that person is with me, I hold on and don’t let go. (John‬ ‭6:35-38‬ ‭MSG‬‬)

Eventually…!

Such a magnificent word! A word full of hope - and fulfilment!

Through that prism of hope we see the Son as he begins to move in us, working to destroy the shame-filled years of ingrained fear, doubt, unbelief and bad attitudes.

The Tree of Life starts to grow and bear fruit in us and we gingerly begin to trust him and what he does.

We learn to focus in on his voice as he speaks, comforts, and acts against the fear, doubt, unbelief and bad attitudes, until we find ourselves willingly working with him, and give him permission to ‘freely’ move in and around us.

Finally, we humbly recognise that we can truly do nothing apart from him, and throwing up our arms in holy surrender, we decide to align with him and ‘choose’ him and his Ways over fear, doubt, unbelief and bad attitudes.

(Jesus speaking) “This is what my Father wants: that anyone who sees the Son and trusts who he is and what he does and then aligns with him will enter real life, eternal life.

My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time.” (‭‭John‬ ‭6:40 MSG) ❤️
