Day 119/365

Open up before GOD, keep nothing back; he’ll do whatever needs to be done… (‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37:5 MSG)


Reading this Scripture reminds me of a time when I was in a real huff with GOD - probably because I couldn’t get my own way with him - and I didn’t see why I couldn’t!


Anyway, while I was prayerfully considering my options, (OK I was sulking), I felt GOD saying to me: “When you talk to me don’t couch everything in what you think is holy language – just be real with me! Tell me what you feel!”

So I did! I just poured out all my grief, hurt, pain and la la …!


Did it all get sorted? – I honestly can’t remember. But I certainly know that I felt a lot better for knowing that Jesus wanted me (expected me) to behave like a friend with him!

He ‘knew’ just what I was going through and wanted me to get all the la la out of my heart, so that he could fill all my pain with his hope!
