Join me here every morning for your bitesize pieces of prayer and praise, setting you up for a day of encouragement!

Since first meeting Jesus back in November 1984, I’ve come to realise the awesome truth of the Scripture:

"There are a lot of people around who can’t wait to tell you what you’ve done wrong, but there aren’t many fathers willing to take the time and effort to help you grow up." (1 Cor 4:15)

To be honest, I don’t know why GOD chose me to write a daily Blog, but this Scripture has ALWAYS been uppermost in my heart - whatever I write!

FYI - my Blog began quite innocently when I was trying to encourage someone who seemed to be stumbling within their daily walk. They seemed to like my perspective on walking with Christ, and so they asked if I would send them a short daily encouragement by text.

Soon after, they asked if I could also include one of their friends ... as I understand it, there are now a few thousand souls that take encouragement, comfort and edification from this daily Blog.

All I can say, from one traveller to another, is thank you for resting here - and refreshing your Souls.

Deliverance from Bondage

That’s it …! I’ve had enough …! No more …! This ends TODAY … !!! Bottom line … a person unable to exercise self-control over their own behavior is a person in bondage. [FFOZ] We fall into the bondage of our appetites and find ourselves ruthlessly lorded over by addictive behaviors like chemical abuse (drugs, alcohol, nicotine) or gluttony and sexual immorality.
